The cross-disciplinary Quantum Engineering programme from Univ. Grenoble-Alpes and the Grenoble Quantum Engineering European COFUND programme offer 15 PhD positions over 2 calls in 2018. We invite outstanding students to join our doctoral programmes, training the next generation of quantum engineers.
=> The Nanosciences Foundation doctoral programme supports PhD training of outstanding students who have not been taken their master degrees in a French university or high level school of engineers. This restriction is not valid for those who have been following the Erasmus European programme or those who have attended only the second year of the master in France. The thesis will be prepared in one (or several) of the 33 laboratories of the Foundation's network. The topic has to be related to nanosciences and nanotechnologies, focusing on quantum nanoelectronics, nanomagnetism and spintronics, nanophotonics, molecular electronics, nanomaterials-nanobonding-nanostructuration, nanocharacterization and nanometrology, nano-approaches to life sciences, nanomodelling, theory and simulation.
If eligibility criteria are met, students are invited to apply to several of these programmes.
